Hi! I'm Jan-Marie. The name and face behind Siamese Communications.

I am a polished, professional with 30+ years of experience (both as an entrepreneur and in the corporate world) in administrative practices, corporate communications, marketing, event planning/management, and project management.

I hold a Bachelor of Management degree from a Canadian university, an Ontario college diploma in Business Administration - Marketing and an Ontario college diploma in Entrepreneurship.

I also have 20+ years of experience as an Associate Professor of Business with a recognized Ontario College and a published author of two college textbooks in business management.

I owned and operated a successful marketing consulting business for more than a decade before returning to the corporate world. I have an entrepreneurial spirit and am happy to return to my true calling, doing what I am passionate about.

My professional skills include exceptional communication skills - copy writing and editing with a strong attention to detail, creating attractive and effective marketing collateral utilizing my creative skills in graphic design/layout and event development/management - from conception to completion. I am client-focused and pride myself on my organizational skills to create top-notch, quality content to meet tight deadlines.

I am a mother to six successful adult children and seven beautiful grandchildren. I maintain a healthy lifestyle, positive attitude and am naturally self-motivated.​
